Sirloin Flap Steak aka Bavette Steak is a very versatile cut of beef - perfect for grilling, pan-frying or even slow cooking.  Cook it medium-rare or medium. Be sure to cut the steak AGAINST THE GRAIN for maximum tenderness and texture.

It has a loose texture that takes marinades well.  While not necessary it can benefit from marinade to help tenderize the meat. 

Best when cooked quickly with high heat either grilled, broiled, or seared on the stovetop.

About our beef:

Our herd of cattle is made up mostly of Belted Galloway cows (aka Oreo Cows). 

This breed of cow produces exceptionally lean and flavorful meat.

The cows at POP Acres spend their days out on fertile pastures happily grazing on fresh grass and foraging for wild edibles.

The cows are also supplemented with minerals, salts, kelp, molasses, and alfalfa pellets.

All that grass-fed goodness is found in our delicious and nutrient dense grass-fed beef.
